Privacy at ShipDeck
Updated September 13, 2026. ShipDeck is operated by Vennco LLC. Contact venncollc@gmail.com with privacy questions or requests about your information.
Information used to provide ShipDeck
We store your account details, sign-in sessions, saved products, preferences, reviews, helpful votes, reports, listing submissions, ownership proofs, and credit and progression history. Email sign-in stores a password hash. Google and GitHub sign-in provide account identifiers and basic profile information such as your name and email address; provider tokens support sign-in and connected-account features. We keep up to three recent request IP addresses per account for account security, without geolocation lookups.
Public and private information
Published reviews, owner replies, and published product information are visible to visitors. Public reviews may be named or anonymous. Structured product feedback is visible only to the verified owner, without the reviewer’s identity. ShipDeck retains account attribution for moderation and fraud prevention. Ratings contribute to community aggregates whether or not a public review is written. Public creator identity is optional and private by default. Ownership verification materials, account email addresses, and authentication credentials are not published. Imported product information and source comments are attributed to their original sources. Contact us to request correction or removal of imported material.
Local storage and service providers
ShipDeck uses session cookies and browser storage for sign-in, cached content, offline saves, preferences, and drafts. Local drafts remain on your device until submitted. Railway and Google Cloud host application data and assets. Mailgun delivers account emails and project notifications. You can turn off project notifications in your profile. Review text and relevant product information may be processed through OpenAI to assess review usefulness and classify imported listings.
Analytics and reliability
We record product views, searches, outbound clicks, saves, and review and builder outcomes to understand and operate ShipDeck. PostHog receives selected product events and account IDs. Sentry and operational logging services help diagnose errors. Analytics do not include submitted review text or authentication credentials. Autocapture and session recording are disabled.
Retention and requests
We retain information while needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, maintain security, and keep required records. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your account information. Backup copies may remain until their scheduled expiration. Websites and stores you open from ShipDeck have their own privacy practices.
