Aldine

Aldine is a self-hosted, open-source LaTeX collaboration platform designed as an alternative to Overleaf. It offers real-time multi-cursor editing using CRDTs, native git repository support with branches, Zotero and GitHub sync, AI-assisted error fixing, fast sandboxed compilation, visual editing mode, review mode with comments, and strong integration with git hosting services. It runs as two containers, requires no database by default, and supports various authentication methods. Aldine is geared towards independent developers and small teams focused on academic writing involving LaTeX.
