Baldur provides a self-healing reliability layer for Python applications, offering circuit breaker, retry with backoff, fallback, idempotency, and dead-letter queue capture and replay functionalities through a single decorator. It is framework-agnostic with adapters for Django, FastAPI, Flask, and Celery and includes production-ready features like health checks, metrics, graceful shutdown, and a web console. Baldur helps services handle dependency failures gracefully by capturing failed calls and replaying them once dependencies recover, preventing silent loss of calls.
