I take a lot of screenshots for the help guides of my product, in five languages, so text inside images is a daily problem for me. I have two questions: does the OCR handle Italian, German and French accents, or is it tuned for English? And does it read the screenshot at capture time or only when I search, because I usually need the text hours later, when the screenshot is already buried under fifty others and I only remember one word of what was in it?

making screenshots actually searchable by their text is such an obvious gap once you notice it - half my clipboard history is screenshots of receipts or error messages I can never find again. Does the OCR run fast enough to keep up if you're a heavy screenshotter, or is there a lag before a new one becomes searchable?
