Mixed OpenAPI, GraphQL, and gRPC in one project is where this gets interesting. Generating docs, typed SDKs, and MCP tools from the same specs should cut down on drift. I'd want the naming rules to be very predictable once operations from different protocols collide.

Cortex Docs
Cortex Docs is an open-source platform that turns API specifications and Markdown into interactive API documentation, typed SDKs in eleven languages, and MCP servers for AI agents. It supports multiple API protocols (OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, GraphQL, gRPC, OpenRPC), enabling developers to create comprehensive developer and agent-friendly API interfaces with built-in integrations, auth, and streaming support. The tool is MIT licensed and designed to be extensible and self-hostable.

Around the Web
What I liked most is that Cortex keeps API docs, SDKs, and MCP tools in the same workflow instead of treating them as separate projects. I changed the API spec a few times and could regenerate everything from the same config, which made the whole process feel much simpler. The TypeScript output worked well in my tests, and having a usable MCP server generated alongside the SDKs was especially convenient. It feels useful for teams that want to keep several developer-facing outputs in sync without maintaining each one by hand.

does cortex generate types for all 11 languages automatically or do we need custom templates for languages like rust and go?

Regarding the auto-generation of SDKs for 11 programming languages, what is your approach to ensuring consistency with any changes to the original specification, auto-regeneration on every change or manual intervention? BTW, Congratulations @nick_csu & @fmerian on the launch of Cortex 🚀🎊

The SDK generation is that your own work or are you using the one from OpenAPI ? The C# generation from openapi is a a messy code bloat.

love that its open source and MIT licensed. lock in with api tools is usually my biggest concern so this is refreshing.
