dotlink is a lightweight binary that securely connects ChatGPT (and other MCP clients) to your local machine, allowing controlled access to files, tools, and projects via a local permission engine and secure tunnels, without requiring the ChatGPT desktop app or SSH provisioning. It enables editing files, running scripts, and using exposed tools through ChatGPT's UI with fine-grained access control across multiple machines.
