ghfs

ghfs is a developer tool that mounts GitHub Issues as read-only local files on macOS and Linux (WSL 2 on Windows), enabling coding agents and AI tools to access issue context directly from disk. It syncs issues in the background before a coding task starts, allowing no API calls mid-task and seamless integration with AI assistants like Claude Code and Cursor. It supports multiple repositories, multi-profile GitHub accounts, grep/search, and background syncing with a daemon. Native Windows support and IDE plugins are planned.
