jev-effort

jev-effort is a proxy tool that dynamically adjusts the reasoning effort level for each step in Claude Code sessions, aiming to reduce API costs and latency without breaking the prompt cache. It uses the Jev decision model to choose effort levels per step, preserving the cached conversation context and enabling savings especially at higher effort settings. This unofficial research and tool is targeted at developers integrating Claude Code.
