Jevcut

Jevcut is an open-source command-line tool that automatically clips long videos such as podcasts, talks, and comedy into short standalone clips suitable for platforms like TikTok, Shorts, and Reels. It enumerates all possible clip cut points and uses an AI model to judge and select precise clip boundaries to ensure each clip stands alone and preserves context. The tool supports transcription and outputs ranked clips with captions if desired. It has been benchmarked on hand-labelled videos and aims to produce higher-quality clips than other auto-clippers by focusing on clipping boundaries.
