useful, slightly ruthless little archivist. the tradeoff is pretty clear: you keep the rendered result, not the live behavior, which is exactly what some pages need and others will absolutely hate.

kage clones websites into browsable offline folders by rendering pages in headless Chrome, capturing the final DOM without any JavaScript, and localizing all assets like CSS, images, and fonts. It enables offline viewing of sites as static HTML with no network calls or script execution, supports packaging mirrors into single ZIM archives or standalone executables, and offers offline serving through a built-in HTTP server or native app windows.
