Kahawai

Kahawai is a self-hosted media server written in Rust using GStreamer that streams your own media collections. It supports direct play, remuxing, audio-only transcoding, and video transcoding with hardware acceleration, managing media metadata, subtitles, and multi-machine distributed storage and transcoding. It supports browser clients, Android and Google TV apps, and is designed to keep your media files read-only and separate from your playback state and metadata.
