kcc

kcc is a formal C17 standard-compliant compiler implemented entirely in ARM64 assembly language. It cross-compiles to x86-64 binaries for Linux and macOS. Uniquely, the project is authored as a literate program using the weft metalanguage, integrating human readable prose with source code. The compiler is self-hosting, can build real-world software like Lua, SQLite, DOOM, and even boot a Linux kernel.
