Around the Web
I've built and tested a lot of different products over the years. I have to say, the team at macaly has thought of everything. From a user experience, they make building something online as easy as baking an already prepared meal. This product is truly a breath of fresh air in a world where everyone has magically become "engineers", "developers", and "designers" overnight.

Macaly keeps evolving like crazy! Great job team!! 💪 Apart from small side-projects, I started using Macaly for teaching and high-schoolers love it. They were able to build their first websites about football teams or their favourite pop starts in super short time. We keep iterating on the generated code both in and outside of Macaly and the transition and quality is very high-quality. Please, keep up the great work 🙌

Hey folks at Macaly, you rock! I tried Lovable and Macaly to create some websites, but personally I like Macaly much more. It better reflects my desire and is easier to really deploy the web. I use it for internal mockups and it makes my life so much easier. Looking forward to working with the 2.0 version. First time I used Macaly (April/May) it was quite clumsy and unstable, but now the product is mature and fully stable. It is easy to save the project into a Git repository for futher processing or deployment. But as a non-technical person, I am happy for Macaly that they are getting closer to the people like me who always struggle doing all the work around deployment and SEO. This is really exciting now. Good luck!

The part I am curious about is how much control developers have over the generated code after the first version is created.

My name is Joost. Most of my life I have developed the old-fashioned way (programs and websites). For the last six years, I have used only no-code tools, and recently I found Macaly. I have been surprised by how capable this environment is in building websites and programs. Initially, I was a bit worried about the editability of the code, but to be honest, I haven't looked at the code at all. You just tell Macaly what you want, and then you just tell it what to add, what to change....and it happens. I have connected Macaly with Claude and I am building quicker (and better) than ever before. So yes, for me it is a no-brainer to keep on using these tools.

How does it decide which parts should be automated and which parts should stay in the developer’s control?
