Next Notes

Next Notes is a macOS app allowing users to dictate text and automatically record and transcribe meetings locally on their Mac. It supports Apple and Parakeet transcription, local and optional cloud-based LLMs for cleaning up text and generating notes, per-app output formatting, meeting recording with speaker separation, and follow-up action suggestions integrating with tools like Gmail and Calendar. The app also features a push-to-talk conversation mode allowing voice commands to control the Mac. It has optional integration with OpenRouter cloud models, but all core functionality runs locally to preserve privacy.
