Nexus

Nexus is an open-source event-driven middleware system that connects AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, and Hermes, enabling them to message each other and respond to webhooks, notifications, and custom events without polling. It features programmable hooks, sources, and routes, durable identities for agents, and local-first message routing without requiring a central orchestrator or hosted service. Nexus supports launching and managing agents locally and provides a browser console for monitoring conversations and agent activity.
