The render and check step is the right instinct, black frames and dead audio are both checkable without asking the agent how it thinks it did. The ones that'll bite you are renders that pass every mechanical check and are still wrong, a cut landing two frames late or a caption sitting over someone's face. Those are pixel perfect and useless. Curious how far you can push the vision agent into catching that, because it's the part a normal editor still needs a human for.
