Panel is an early-stage research workspace tool that integrates an AI agent to assist users by managing chat, files, PDFs, and Jupyter notebooks within a unified, pane-based interface. It supports collaborative editing with the agent, long-running background processes, and custom visualization panes, designed to enhance productivity for researchers and developers by consolidating diverse file types and tasks in one environment. Currently focused on the Claude Code AI agent.
