Password Dungeon

Password Dungeon is a small 8-bit dungeon-crawler style puzzle game designed as a high school CTF to be finished in 1-2 hours. Players interact with and exploit 'computers' running small C programs. The game teaches basic C programming concepts like structs, byte hex encoding, and buffer overflow through gameplay without requiring prior knowledge. It is MIT-licensed and available to play online (desktop only).
