I invoke Paste thousands of times each day and it does not let me down. I switched to it from Pastebot in early 2021 and never looked back. It is a fantastic Mac app with support for logical keyboard shortcut conventions for navigating "Pinboards", selecting multiple items, and modifiers for pasting in plain text. Most importantly it does not capture content from secure applications in the "Ignore" list, as not all provide this security natively like 1Password does. It performs really well even with 4 years of "Forever" history.

I write help centre guides for a software company. Our articles are available in ten different languages, and we use DeepL for some of the localisation work. That means there is a LOT of copying and pasting, which is much smoother with Paste. I've especially found Paste Stack (activate with Shift + Command + C) to be handy for copying text, images, and links from different pages into Intercom (where the articles are stored). Because it's so affordable (and useful), I've recommended Paste to multiple colleagues. My advice has been "It's so cheap, just charge it to your company credit card. It'll save you a decent amount of time and your finance team won't even notice". So far, so good!

I have been using Paste for more than 6 years. I am a developer. Each version of Paste brings big improvements, it works completely seamlessley between devices. Paste has saved my bacon on so many occasions where i had deleted / lost / overwritten work accidentally, and i am just able to search for some of the text and i can find it with ease. It is literally a never ending clipboard. Even with the exciting change of the world with this AI revolution, and as someone who writes a lot of code, and is dependant on many tools and platforms - you can cancel my AI subscriptions tomorrow and i would be fine. Paste however - is the app i could never be without. Professionally or personally.

Everything on the mac instead of sending copied text to the cloud is also a plus for privacy. One question: does it slow down the mac or use more battery when hundreds of copied items are saved?

Clipboard history is already a huge time saver but intelligent could make it feel much more natural.

The real value here might be reducing tiny interruptions throughout the day. Those little copy and paste moments add up.

This could be especially useful switching multiple projects. Does it learn individual workflows over time?
