Postgres MCP

Postgres MCP is a read-only Postgres MCP server designed as a drop-in replacement for the archived server-postgres. It enforces strict read-only transactions at multiple protocol layers and supplies a markdown context file that can be edited by users and agents to provide schema and business context for AI models, enabling them to generate accurate SQL queries based on the team's real schema and definitions. It aims to safely allow AI agents to query Postgres databases without risk of write operations or SQL injection vulnerabilities.
