PropaLens

PropaLens is a Chrome extension that highlights sentences in news articles based on 14 known propaganda techniques. It runs a small model entirely in-browser without sending page text externally, emphasizing privacy. Users can see explanations and confidence levels for each flagged sentence, adjust strictness settings to balance coverage and accuracy, and view summaries of identified techniques. It is free to use and experimental, aiming to alert users to persuasive language rather than verify factual accuracy.
