Proteus

Proteus is a research-preview software framework that enables self-evolution of AI agent harnesses by plugging in any agent harness and model. It runs context-fresh episodes where the harness can rewrite its own source code under various goals or no goals, measures structural and behavioral changes, and supports diverse evaluators. It is harness-agnostic, supports visible and hidden evaluators, and outputs evolution history as git repositories for audit and analysis.
