Proval is an open-source, self-hosted code review agent designed for integration with GitHub, GitLab, and Forgejo. It runs as a lightweight Docker app, supports chat completion APIs for LLM integration, and performs automated code reviews on pull requests and issues with inline comments and replies. Proval enables configuration via a web dashboard and is built using Bun, SvelteKit, and SQLite, emphasizing ease of use and efficiency in code review processes for indie developers and small teams.
