RainDesktop

RainDesktop is a macOS application that displays realistic rain effects behind application windows, including drops bouncing off title bars, water running down window sides, and flood simulations with waves and fish. It also features interactive characters like people with umbrellas and a 'Mafia mode' where a character fights waves of gangsters. The app includes synthesized rain sounds, low resource usage, and a control panel for customizing rain intensity, wind, and sound. It runs on macOS 14 Sonoma or later and is open source under the MIT license.
