Runtape is a tool that records AI agent runs locally and helps identify which parts of the input context caused specific decisions. It reruns model calls with modifications to isolate causes of failures, proposes fixes, and can automatically generate regression tests. It supports OpenAI, Anthropic SDKs, LangChain, local compatible servers, and custom agent loops, enabling developers to debug and verify fixes for decision-making in their AI agents.
