s3-accelerator is an open-source software tool that provides a per-zone NVMe-backed read cache for S3-compatible object storage. It accelerates read performance by caching hot objects with sub-millisecond latency, replicates frequently accessed keys, and supports seamless resizing with minimal cache misses. It preserves S3 as the source of truth and integrates transparently with existing S3 SDKs by acting as a caching gateway.
