Salmon

Salmon is a monitoring utility that checks the health of your local Linux machine and/or remote servers by monitoring systemd services and arbitrary shell commands, displaying a tray icon with status and sending desktop notifications. It includes a server component (salmon) and a desktop client (salmon-watch) to aggregate and display alerts from one or more machines.
