SCM — Screen Memories

SCM is a macOS app that enables deep AI-based search over every photo and every frame of video in any folder locally. It supports semantic search by description, scene segmentation within videos, OCR text search, exact spoken-word search via Whisper, and local language model chat. The app indexes and updates watched folders automatically, maintains privacy with offline models and no cloud usage, and offers multiple search modes and configurable AI models. It is targeted at users needing powerful local multimedia search without uploading content.
