Sharp is an open source app that lets you repurpose an old iMac or compatible Mac as a high-resolution external display for a newer Mac, using an Ethernet connection. It supports mirroring or extending the desktop, delivers sharp visuals via a hybrid of compressed video and lossless tiles, and can transmit audio. Compatible with macOS 10.15 or later on the iMac and 12.3 or later on the sending Mac.
