Skymir is a native Linux application that syncs your Google Drive folders to local disk with a true mirror mode, allowing two-way sync and offline access. It generates shortcuts for Google Docs and integrates into your system tray for easy monitoring and quick actions. The app ensures safety by sending deletions to trash and refusing risky syncs. Priced as a one-time payment with a 14-day free trial, it supports major Debian-based Linux distributions.

Great launch David.. such a simpler gdrive sync was much needed for linux systems.. and the website is self explanatory with no doubts post going through it..

Hey David, that rclone story where it wiped 1,437 Docs sounds like a nightmare, so the rule that refuses any sync deleting more than half your files makes total sense. Linux folks have been waiting on a proper Drive client for years

The safety check that stops a sync if it might delete too many files is a thoughtful touch. That could save a lot of trouble.
