SNESMASH Kit

SNESMASH Kit is a set of methods and tools that allow users to transplant characters from one retro game into another and play the mashup live in the Mesen 2 emulator. It operates by steering the host game through Lua scripts without modifying the ROM. Designed for indie developers and hobbyists, it facilitates creative game modding with detailed documentation, reusable code libraries, and tools for porting, testing, and sound integration, centered on SNES games but adaptable to others supported by Mesen.
