Tech Bench Auto-Captioner is a free, open-source Windows application that automatically transcribes video audio locally using faster-whisper and FFmpeg, then burns karaoke-style captions into copies of the videos with customizable fonts, colors, and styles. It exports YouTube-ready SRT subtitle files and supports batch processing, GPU acceleration, and custom vocabulary prompts. It runs entirely offline with no uploads or queues, preserving the original video files intact.
