Tegaki
Tegaki is an open-source handwriting animation library that extracts and animates the strokes of any font in natural stroke order on a canvas over selectable text. It supports multiple writing systems including Latin, Hebrew, Arabic, Devanagari, Bengali, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese. The library provides adapters for popular frameworks like React, Svelte, Vue, SolidJS, Astro, Web Components, and integrates with Remotion for video rendering. Tegaki offers timeline control, streaming text, plugin support for effects, and a free studio tool to generate bundles from any font without a server. It outputs interactive animations and exports to PNG, GIF, WebM, SVG, and video formats. Licensed under MIT.
