Tether is a free macOS app that mounts your Android device in the Finder sidebar over USB, allowing you to browse, drag, drop, and manage files directly in Finder without complex setup. Built with a native macOS File Provider in Swift and Rust for device communication, it supports both MTP and adb protocols seamlessly, requires no account or network connection, and works on Apple silicon and Intel Macs running macOS 11 or later.
