Type PAL

Type PAL is an unofficial fan project that rewrites the 1995 game Chinese Paladin from scratch using TypeScript. It runs in the browser and supports full gameplay to completion. It includes a visual editor for maps, scenes, NPC scripts, and more. The project features a TypeScript event bytecode interpreter, 320x200 indexed color rendering, turn-based combat system, and MIDI synthesis audio. It is open source under GPL-3.0, primarily developed by independent contributors.
