Vitals

Vitals is a macOS app that acts as an alternative to the built-in Activity Monitor. It aggregates system processes under their parent apps to provide clearer insights with approximately 60 apps instead of thousands of processes. It tracks CPU, memory, disk, network, GPU, battery usage, and temperatures, offering 30 days of historical data per app. It also alerts users to misbehaving apps, provides a menu bar interface, and helps manage dev servers by identifying idle ones with open ports. It is sold via one-time payment, supports both Apple silicon and Intel Macs, and respects privacy by keeping all data on the device.
