Xtriever

Xtriever is a hybrid retrieval engine designed for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). Implemented in Rust, it runs entirely on-device (iPhone, Android, laptop) with no server or network dependency. It features multi-stage query processing combining lexical and dense search, fusion, and re-ranking using machine learning models. The project includes Python, Swift, and Kotlin interfaces and demo apps, and supports offline search of large corpora like Simple English Wikipedia.
